What is WhichCrafts Emporium?

This wild and crazy venture was born when Jon bought a laser and wanted to prove to me that it was worth the money. What he didn’t realize was, I already knew it was because I wanted to use it to make gifts for people. But neither of us imagined creating an entire business and spending every other Sunday selling our crafts to people who really love them.

This business is more about love and fun than money, and the two weirdos (I can call us that because I’m one of them) who run it wouldn’t have it any other way.

The name is a pun, by the way. We both love crafts and trying new things, so you never really know which craft we’re going to do next. We thought it would be a fun way to make people look twice at the name and the logo, especially with the laser icon that could also be a magic wand…

After learning how to use the laser and doing some really fun things with it, Jon wanted to branch out into CNC work, so we bought a machine and he started learning how to design for it, too. And somewhere in there, we celebrated the anniversary that has steel as the traditional gift. We always try to find our own spin on the traditional gifts for each other, so for this one we decided to buy each other a lathe - which is made of steel - because I had always wanted to learn how to make pens and bowls. We are still working on the bowls, but our pen-making game is strong. ;)

We design a lot of our own items, and the things that are painted are hand-painted by me, so our products are one of a kind.

We absolutely love doing custom orders. It is so fun when someone comes to us with an idea and we work with them to bring it to life. We have had quite a few of these and the finished items always surprise and delight us - and the customer!

So that’s how WhichCrafts Emporium came to life. We are excited to see where it all goes and we hope you come along with us on this journey.
